內容簡介: Drawing upon a unique and untapped reservoir of newspapers, magazines, novels, government documents, photographs and illustrations, this book traces the origin, pinnacle, and ultimate demise of a commercial dance industry in Shanghai between the end of the First World War and the early years of the People's Republic of China. Delving deep into the world of cabarets, nightclubs, and elite ballrooms that arose in the city in the 1920s and peaked in the博客來書店 1930s, the book assesses how and why Chinese society incorporated and transformed this westernized world of leisure and entertainment to suit its own tastes and interests. Focusing on the jazz-age nightlife of the city in its 'golden age,' the book examines issues of colonialism and modernity, urban space, sociability and sexuality, and modern Chinese national identity formation in a tumultuous era of war and revolution.

安倍母訪台 與蔡總統同場聆聽音樂會

（中央社記者唐佩君台北3日電）正在台灣訪問、有日本「政壇教母」封號的日本首相安倍晉三母親安倍洋子，今天晚間與總統蔡英文在國家音樂廳比鄰而坐，同場聆聽日本放送協會（NHK）交響樂團演出，互動熱絡。

蔡總統與安倍洋子在互動過程中彼此對對方微笑，也互相致意，而蔡總統座位附近聽眾更是反應熱烈。

NHK交響樂團創團90週年，上次在台灣演出是西元1971年2月，相隔45年再登台，今天、明天在台北國家音樂廳舉辦「LEXUS古典音樂會－日本NHK交響樂團」音樂會。

熟知台日事務人士說，安倍洋子此行與NHK交響樂團睽違45年後，今天、明天在台北再度登台演出有關。

安倍洋子父親是日本前首相岸信介，叔叔佐藤榮作也曾任首相。她的丈夫是差一點就當上首相的前外務大臣安倍晉太郎，她的次男就是安倍晉三，繼承她娘家岸家的3男岸信夫現在是眾議員。

安倍洋子下午訪問台北士林官邸。據悉，安倍洋子娘家岸家及安倍家族與蔣家有交情，到訪台灣，特別造訪士林官邸。

日前有台灣媒體報導，NHK交響樂團暌違45年後於3、4日再度訪台演出，被台日雙方視為是祝賀新政府開展新局文化盛事，日方已透過外交途徑，向蔡總統送出邀請函。1050603
